I’m pissed.

So Mike is coming to visit tomorrow. We’re going to hang out in Utah for a week, and then next Friday we’re going to fly back to Virginia so I can meet his mom and see his life. 

Today I was cleaning and getting ready for his visit when Mike texted me saying his dad called him and said “well why would the parents of a seventeen year old let her stay with a nineteen year old? Are they trying to marry her off? Do they know with that we have money?”

Are you fucking kidding me.

There are so many things wrong with that sentence, I don’t even know where to start.

First off, why the hell are you bringing this up now, THE DAY BEFORE your son comes? When we’ve already purchased our tickets and got everything planned out? Second, I’m Mormon, not FLDS. We don’t try to “marry off” our daughters, you uneducated little fuck. Third, I’m not a mother-fucking gold digger. I fell in love with your son before I even knew about how well off your family is. And fourth, I’ll be 18 in 3 months. He just BARELY turned 19 in April. Ooooh he’s a whole year older than me. Big fucking deal.

My parents are letting me go because they like Mike, and they trust me. Not to “Marry me off” or because “you have money”. In fact, if my mom didn’t like him, she wouldn’t be letting me go in the first place.

AND THAT’S NOT EVEN THE BEST PART.

Later tonight, I got on Mike’s Facebook (I have his password. Don’t judge me), and saw that he had a message from his dad. So obviously I snooped a little and his dad said “Saw you friended angela…dude, if you want to mess with long distance stuff, there’s the one! :)”

Angela was Mike’s best friend when he was 2. She lives in Texas now. That’s not why I’m mad, though. What makes me mad about this statement, is that he told Mike that he didn’t want him to be in an ldr, EVER. But I guess that’s just with me… What in the actual fuck.

I really don’t even want to meet him anymore. He’s sunk so far into the sea of douchebaggery that I can’t handle it.
